Monthly
Default for Independent and the first 60 days of Banner. EFT or credit card. Predictable monthly invoice in CAD. Cancel month-to-month after the initial 60-day implementation period.
Annual
8% discount on the platform tier. One annual invoice in CAD, EFT only. Common for Banner customers after the initial term. GST/HST/QST applied per provincial rules.
Multi-year
Banner customers commonly sign 36-month agreements with additional volume discount. Specific terms negotiated with your sales engineer. National and ministry-program contracts may be longer.
The questions we get from Canadian operators.
Is the Kroll bridge actually included? No add-on fee?
Included. No add-on fee. The Admin Clerk β Kroll bridge is part of the per-store price on every tier. Same for the Nexxsys and Fillware bridges. We don't price-discriminate on the integration that's the whole reason most Canadian operators consider MedMe.
What about Cosmofar? PharmaClik?
Cosmofar bridge launches Q3 2026. Assyst Rx and McKesson PharmaClik are on the roadmap for late 2026 / early 2027. If your stores run on these systems, talk to us β we may already have a partner pharmacy you can reference. We will not sell you a contract that depends on an integration we don't have shipping yet.
Do I have to sign an annual contract?
No. The standard MedMe Independent CA agreement is month-to-month after the 60-day initial implementation period (during which you don't pay until you're live). Annual prepay gets you 8% off, but it's optional. Banner contracts are typically 36 months, but the initial 60 days are also month-to-month.
Can I cancel anytime?
After the initial 60-day implementation period for Independent, yes β month-to-month with 30-day notice. Banner contracts have specific terms in the master agreement. Enterprise contracts are individually negotiated. We do not have early-termination penalties beyond standard contractual obligations, and we never enforce a "data wind-down" period that holds your data hostage.
Who owns my data?
You do. Always. Your patients are your patients. On termination, MedMe provides a complete CSV + FHIR R4 export of all patient, encounter, and clinical data within 14 calendar days at no charge. Your data is yours regardless of payment status, regardless of contract term. This is in the master agreement.
Where does my pharmacy data physically live?
AWS ca-central-1 (MontrΓ©al). All PHI stored in Canada, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. No PHI ever leaves Canadian borders. Our LLM providers run in Canadian-residency-eligible enclaves with zero retention. Provincial PIAs (Privacy Impact Assessments) are on file with ON, BC, AB privacy commissioners.
What counts as a "store"?
One physical pharmacy location with one pharmacy licence is one store. If you have a single corporation with two physical locations and two licences, that's two stores. If you have a "store-in-store" with a separate licence, that's two stores. Mobile vaccine clinics that share a licence with a physical store are not separate stores.
Are there per-pharmacist or per-user charges?
No. The per-store price includes unlimited pharmacists, technicians, front-counter staff, owner-dashboard users. We don't price-discriminate against larger teams.
What's the implementation timeline at each tier?
Independent: 14 calendar days, with full production go-live by day 14 (we don't start billing you until you're live). Banner: 8-14 weeks for a 30-50 store rollout in waves. Enterprise: 9-18 months end-to-end for a national chain with custom EMR integration. Specific timelines are in your sales-engineering scoping document.
