Default for Independent and the first 90 days of Multi-store. ACH or credit card. Predictable monthly invoice. Cancel month-to-month after the initial 90-day implementation period.
Annual
8% discount on the platform tier (not Medical Billing). One annual invoice, ACH only. Common for Multi-store after the initial term.
Multi-year
Multi-store and Enterprise customers commonly sign 24- or 36-month agreements with additional volume discount. Specific terms negotiated with your sales engineer.

Do I have to sign an annual contract?
No. The standard MedMe Independent agreement is month-to-month after the 90-day initial implementation period (which exists so we can finish go-live properly). Annual prepay gets you 8% off, but it's optional. Multi-store contracts are typically 24-36 months, but the initial 90 days are also month-to-month.
Can I cancel anytime?
After the initial 90-day implementation period for Independent, yes — month-to-month with 30-day notice. Multi-store contracts have specific terms in the master agreement. Enterprise contracts are individually negotiated. We do not have early-termination penalties beyond standard contractual obligations, and we never enforce a "data wind-down" period that holds your data hostage.
Who owns my data?
You do. Always. Your patients are your patients. On termination, MedMe provides a complete CSV + FHIR R4 export of all patient, encounter, care plan, claim, and remit data within 14 calendar days at no charge. Your data is yours regardless of payment status, regardless of contract term, regardless of any dispute. This is in the master agreement.
What counts toward billing — what's a "store"?
One physical pharmacy location with one NPI Type 2 (organization) is one store. If you have a single corporation with two physical locations and two NPIs, that's two stores. If you have a "store-in-store" with a separate NPI, that's two stores. Mobile clinics and pop-up vaccination sites that share an NPI with a physical store are not separate stores.
Are there per-pharmacist or per-user charges?
No. The per-store price includes unlimited pharmacists, unlimited technicians, unlimited billers, unlimited owner-dashboard users. We don't price-discriminate against larger teams.
Are there per-encounter or per-claim charges?
No. AI Scribe is unlimited per encounter. Medical Billing includes unlimited 837P claim generation, unlimited 835 remit ingest, unlimited denial management. We do not take a percentage of reimbursement and never will — that creates a perverse incentive.
What about Medicare Part B credentialing — is that included?
For Multi-store and Enterprise: yes, included. For Independent: PECOS application support is included; if your stores are not yet PECOS-active and need application work done by a credentialing professional, we will quote that separately or refer you to a vetted partner. Most independent customers already have PECOS active.
Can we pilot before signing a multi-year deal?
Yes. Most Multi-store customers run a 1-3 store pilot for 60-90 days before the full network signs. Enterprise pilots are usually 50-100 stores for 6-9 months. Pilot pricing is on a 90-day month-to-month basis at the standard tier rate, which converts to the volume tier on full signature.
What's the implementation timeline at each tier?
Independent: 30 calendar days, with the first claim out by day 30 (we don't start billing you until you're live). Multi-store: 8-14 weeks for a 14-store rollout, 16-20 weeks for a 30-50 store rollout. Enterprise: 9-18 months end-to-end with custom integrations. Specific timelines are in your sales-engineering scoping document.
